Who shows up
The four roles you deal with when you book through this site: the person who answers, the crew that looks and hauls, the one who runs the day, and the one who sends the receipt.
The phone
An automated assistant answers at any hour and takes the basics: what has to go, roughly how much, where, and when you'd like the crew. A person then calls you back the same day, usually within the hour, and sets the window. Say if there is a deadline and the booking goes to the front.
The crew
Two people and a truck, from an independent local hauling crew we work with. They look at the load with you, check the stairs and the carry, name the price and, when you say yes, carry everything out, sort usable items for donation where possible, and sweep.
The lead
One of the two runs the day: the order things come out, the route to the truck, what is bagged, what is set aside because it can't ride, and the walk-through with you before the truck leaves. Ask the lead anything about the price; the answer is plain.
The office
Keeps the crew's certificate of insurance current so you can see it before anyone arrives, sends the dated receipt and, if you asked, the donation list and photographs, and takes the call at (719) 602-8669 if something later isn't right.
Who actually does the hauling
Cheyenne Mountain Junk Co. is run locally in Colorado Springs. The hauling is done by independent, insured, locally registered crews we work with, not by the operator of this website, and you are told which crew is coming before the window is set. We don't invent names or faces for this page, and there are no reviews or ratings here, because we would rather you judge the crew on the day than trust a quote we wrote ourselves. The referral marketing disclosure explains how we and the crews are connected; the about page explains how we pick them.
