Junk removal in Monument, before the HOA writes again

Monument is the Tri-Lakes town on I-25 about twenty minutes north of the city, with big newer homes on big lots, three-car garages that fill like any other, and homeowners' associations that take their covenants seriously. A fair share of our Monument calls start with a letter.

A two-car garage packed to the walls with boxes, old bikes, paint cans, a treadmill and bins, the door open to a sunny driveway

The houses in Monument and the Tri-Lakes area are newer and larger than the county average, and so are the garages. A three-car garage with one car in it is a common Monument sight, and when the family decides to reclaim it the load is a full truck: patio furniture that lost to the hail, exercise equipment, the furniture from the last house, a hot tub cover with no hot tub. The HOAs in Jackson Creek, Woodmoor and the newer subdivisions notice what sits in a driveway, and a letter with a date on it is often what turns a plan into a call.

We meet the date. Tell us what the letter says and when, and the crew is booked ahead of it, with a dated receipt and photographs if you want proof for the association. The rest of Monument's calls look like the rest of the county's: hot tubs on big decks, move-outs for the military families who commute to the Air Force Academy side, and spring brush on the wooded lots toward Black Forest and Palmer Lake.

A bit higher, a bit colder

Monument sits higher than the city, on the Palmer Divide, and winter arrives earlier and stays. A snow day can shift a booking; we call if it does. The trucks run year round.

Questions from Monument

Can you meet an HOA deadline this week?

Nearly always. Tell us the date and what the letter names; the crew is booked ahead of it.

Do you charge extra to come to Monument?

No. It's on the regular north run with Black Forest and Northgate.

What about Palmer Lake or Gleneagle?

Both, yes. Call and ask if you're somewhere unusual.

The garage has paint, fertiliser and propane in it.

Those can't ride with us. The crew sets them aside and tells you where they go. Everything else goes on the truck.

Do you work in snow?

Yes. A bad storm day can slide a booking by a day up here; we call if it does.
